Underwood’s Land Division has been active in land investments throughout the Metroplex, purchasing raw land, then zoning, packaging and repositioning it for sale and has become exceedingly efficient at this process. Underwood has consistently worked successfully with city governments, affecting changes in zoning and infrastructure that add value for investors and are in the best interest of the larger community.

Celina District Created
A 672-acre tract was assembled north of SH 380 near the north Tollway extension in 2002-3. After two years of planning, negotiating development agreements, and securing passage of State legislation forming a Fresh Water District, this tract was sold and is being developed as a master planned community.

70-Acre Mixed Use Development
in Anna, Texas
When Underwood bought this acreage in Anna in 2002, it was 30 acres of briars and bushes. It is now a 70-acre mixed use development that includes retail, medical, a school and a park. Underwood worked with the City of Anna so that the development costs were shared between the developer and the City.
