Underwood Financial Ltd. is a commercial real estate investment company founded in 1953 that understands our investors are looking for conservative investments which offer opportunities for short-, medium- and long-term results, through the resale of properties, as well as the development of properties and management of income-producing properties.

Underwood focuses on opportunities in Dallas Metroplex markets in the path of major growth, in communities where we have first-hand, comprehensive knowledge of the prevailing market forces and local contingencies.

Leadership

Underwood Financial, Ltd. was created by George M. Underwood, Jr. in 1953 and since 1986 has been led by Nancy Underwood whose vision has shaped the firm’s successful strategies and philosophy. A third generation Dallasite, Ms. Underwood is the company’s primary owner and president. Underwood's leadership extends deeply into the community and is powered by a strong tradition of community service. Additionally, Nancy Underwood serves on the Board of Comstock Resources, a public oil and gas company listed on the New York Stock Exchange as CRK. Nancy Underwood graduated from Emory Law School where she and her partner were the first moot court team in the history of the school to win a National competition. She then practiced law for ten years before taking over Underwood Financial.
